Storing cabinet over long periods of time.

There is no problem storing your wine cabinet over time. Simply following these guidelines: – turn the wine cabinet OFF and disconnect the power cord.
– remove all the wine bottles from the wine cabinet.
– remove the humidity cassette if there is one.
– take filter out to allow more air into the unit.
– clean the shelves and compartments.
– clean the water tank at the bottom in the wine cabinet.
– clean the drain pipe.
– empty the water tank at the back and to clean it.
– give it a good clean and vacuum around rear compressor and coils.
– ensure the door is left slightly open to aid ventilation.
– don’t leave anything stuck on the rubber seals, over years this can make a permanent impression.
– tape (non marking) something (small ruler or similar) to top of unit and door to keep it open.
– store the wine cabinet in a room with normal ambient temperature and humidity.
– do not store the wine cabinet tilted.
– do not store anything on the top of the wine cabinet (it can deform the wine cabinet).
