EuroCave Wine Cabinet Maintenance and Care

Your EuroCave cares for your collection. A little regular attention helps keep it performing at its best. Replace the charcoal filter annually, check the door seal and drainage, clean the interior and keep ventilation clear.

Here’s how to look after your wine cabinet.

How often should you change your EuroCave charcoal filter?

Replace the charcoal filter every 12 months to help maintain airflow and control unwanted odours inside your cabinet.

To order a replacement filter, click here.

On cabinets with the filter button shown as a grid of small squares, press and hold it for three seconds to check the remaining filter life. A reading of 000 means it is time for a replacement.

How to replace the filter and reset the reminder

For cabinets with a pull-out filter:

  1. Move any bottles that prevent access to the filter.
  2. Gently pull out the old filter and push the replacement into place. Do not force it.
  3. On the control panel described above, press and hold the filter button for three seconds, then press “+” to reset the countdown to 365 days.

Replacing the filter does not automatically reset the reminder, so remember to complete this final step.

For Inspiration cabinets: the filter-checking procedure is different. Follow the illustrated instructions below.

EuroCave Inspiration control-panel instructions for checking charcoal filter life.

How do you check the door seal?

Check the seal around the door occasionally for cracks, tears or uneven sections. Gently run your fingers along it and check that it sits snugly when the door is closed.

A secure seal helps maintain the cabinet’s internal climate. If you notice damage or a section that is not sealing properly, contact our Client Care team for assistance.

How do you keep the condensate drain clear?

The condensate drain carries away excess moisture. An occasional blockage can prevent drainage and cause water to collect inside the cabinet.

For cabinets with the drain opening at the bottom left of the interior, gently clear any visible obstruction with a non-abrasive tool, such as a wooden skewer. Do not force the tool into the drain.

A small amount of water can collect at the base, but if it persists or increases, contact our Client Care team for advice.

How do you clean the inside of your EuroCave?

Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply before cleaning. For the interior surfaces, use equal parts white vinegar and water with a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth.

  1. Gently wipe the interior to remove dust and residue.
  2. Follow with a clean, damp cloth to remove any vinegar residue.

This guidance is for interior surfaces; it does not prescribe a cleaning treatment for timber shelving or other specialist finishes.

How do you clean the vent on a EuroCave Compact cabinet?

Keep the front ventilation grille on your EuroCave Compact free of dust and debris to support airflow.

With the cabinet disconnected from the power supply, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently clean the accessible grille. Check it periodically and clean whenever dust accumulates.
