FAQs

Everything you need to know about the INOA 25.

A wine collection is a significant investment, often intended to mature over many years. A cellar conditioner maintains the stable temperature wine needs to age gracefully, protecting its quality, value and, ultimately, the enjoyment of opening a special bottle at its best.

A standard air conditioner is designed for human comfort, not wine storage. Most struggle to operate consistently below around 18°C, can be noisy and remove moisture from the air. A cellar conditioner is purpose-designed to maintain the lower, stable temperatures and appropriate humidity wine needs to mature properly.

This depends on many factors including the cellar’s size, location, construction materials and other additions to the cellar. Our consultants can conduct a heat load assessment for you and advise on the unit most suitable for your project.

No – the EuroCave INOA is a self-contained system, so it does not require installation by a qualified refrigeration mechanic. However, correct positioning, ducting, airflow and cellar construction remain important to ensure the system performs effectively.

When building a wine cellar, consider its location, insulation, glazing, lighting and overall heat load. Plan for stable temperature and humidity, effective airflow, noise, equipment access, aesthetics and racking. Speaking to a cellar expert early is critical to getting these elements right from the outset.
