FAQs

Everything you need to know about the Compact Underbench.

EuroCave wine cabinets can accommodate ALL bottle types common to Australian wine collections including magnums. Many other wine cabinet brands are ONLY suited to the slimmer Bordeaux bottles, resulting in significantly lower bottle capacities and/or potential label scratching.

Yes — it’s designed specifically to be slimmer than EuroCave’s standard ranges, so standard kitchen joinery dimensions (600x600mm). The underbench model fits standard bench height though the unit comes with a ‘raising piece’ that can be added to the unit’s existing feet if needed. Please refer to the Installation Instructions for more information.

Yes. The Compact range is available with either a seamless full-glass door to beautifully showcase your wine collection or a joinery-ready door, allowing the cabinet to blend seamlessly with your cabinetry and surrounding interior. If choosing the joinery-ready option, please note that the maximum recommended panel thickness is 20mm, with a maximum weight of 15kg.

A single temperature wine cabinet can be set anywhere between 5°C and 20°C, and this will apply for ALL wine inside the unit. We recommend 12-14°C for cellaring longer term. A multiple temperature wine cabinet provides a ‘gradation’ of temperature from the bottom shelf (coldest), to the top shelf, all in the ONE zone. This allows all wine varietals to be served at their ideal drinking temperature.

Yes! A EuroCave wine cabinet consumes approximately 200 Watts of power when the ambient room temperature is at 25°C, or 128-165 kWh/year on average, depending on the model. This is up to 67% less energy than traditional cabinets.
